The GLG market is going to be implemented on Wednesday, April 19th, and will allow users to begin to buy and sell cards from each other using Credits and GLUSD! This is a big step forward to making GLG a fully functional game and marketplace.
To access the market, click the Market button on the top menu bar (pictured below). If you don't see this button after the maintenance on Wednesday, please make sure to hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 for most browsers on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) to get the newest version of the website.
Once there, you'll see the page below. This is similar to the collection view, with the menu on the left side allowing you to sort by various options (player/coach, position, etc.), and the dropdown menu in the top right ('Sort By...'), allowing you to sort by other options which will include highest/lowest price and highest/lowest circulation numbers (these two are unique to the Market page, and not used for Collection sorting). You can also simply search by name in the top-center of the page, just like the Collection view.
On the top of each individual player/coach, you will see the lowest listed price, the number of cards for sale, as well as the total number of that card currently in circulation.
Purchasing Cards
In order to purchase a card, you'll need to sort/search by whatever criteria you are looking for in the market, and then when you find the specific coach or player you want, click on that card. This will show you what specific individual copies of that card are currently listed for sale, and the price they're listed at.
In order to purchase a card, you'll need to click the checkbox to the left of it, then the buy button, as pictured below.
This will take you to the page below, allowing you to choose your payment type: either Credits or GLUSD. Select one of these two from the dropdown, then click Buy:
This will prompt a Keychain transaction. Click Confirm on the pop-up:
You should see a message saying 'Transfer initiated', and once processed, the card will be in your collection (these banners appear at the top right of the website). Keep in mind that purchases are not processed instantly, so please be patient and if needed, refresh your collection page to check if the card has arrived.
Listing Cards for Sale
In order to list a card for sale, let's first go to our Collection page by clicking that on the top menu bar.
Navigate to the card you want to sell by sorting through the various options on the left, and in the 'Sort By' column, then click that card to take you to page shown below. You can double-check that we're seeing cards in your collection by noting the 'Owned' tab being lit-up.
Select the checkbox next to the individual card you want to sell, then click the 'List' button.
You will now see the page shown below, where you can enter a price for your card. The dropdown menu currently only offers 'For Sale', but in the future may have rentals and other choices. Please note that, at least at the time of release, there is a $0.25 minimum price for listing cards on the market. When you've entered the price, click the Sell button.
This will prompt a Keychain transaction. Click Confirm on the pop-up:
You will see the 'Transfer initiated' banner load first, and then, if the listing is successful, the 'Market list successful' banner as well (these appear on the top right of the website).
If you want to double check that the card is listed, you can return to the Owned tab for that card, and note the blue market icon shown below (you can hover over that to view the message shown here as well).
Removing a Card Listing
Removing a card listing from the market is very simple (this can be done two different ways), and just requires that you visit the same Owned tab for that specific card, pictured above. The first method to remove a card requires you to select the card with the checkbox, then click the Unlist button.
The second method is on that same Owned tab. The blue market icon under 'Status' can be clicked to initiate the market cancellation, as seen below.
Both methods will prompt a Keychain transaction to cancel the listing. Click Confirm:
If successful, you will see another green banner icon in the corner, saying 'Market cancel successful'.
The blue market icon will disappear from that card's status, and it will no longer be listed.
