Genesis League Goals is all about building the best soccer team to compete against other players. Users may want to change their starting lineup, or replace players altogether, to build a better team. This guide covers how to make changes to a starting lineup by swapping players from substitutes and reserves. This means you first need to have a team created, with all of these spots filled. Please review our Guide to Team Management for instructions on building your team.
**Note: Replacing your players will decrease your synergy - a measure of how well your team works together.
Editing Starting Lineups with Subs & Reserves
Step 1: Navigate to the Teams page via the Collection dropdown menu. Then, select the team you wish to edit:
Step 2: Click Edit Team - the first option located on the top right of the page:
Step 3: Review your starting lineup and determine which player you would like to swap with a sub or reserve.
Note: Please note that there is a 360 Roster Points Cap in creating a team which applies to players in Starting Line up & Subs positions. You cannot have a team with more than 360 Roster points. User will need to swap or remove players to have the team under the cap. Reserve Players are not included in Roster Point Calculations.
Step 4: Click that selected player in your starting lineup; this will reveal the players in your subs, reserves, and/or starting lineup that qualify to swap positions with the selected card. Invalid selections will be greyed out (as seen below); valid selections will be indicated by an icon of left and right facing arrows within a grey circle, seen below on Akinola, Wood, and Vazquez:
Step 5: Click that arrow/grey circle icon for the specific player you want to swap from your subs/reserves into the starting lineup (pictured below).
**Note: If you no longer wish to make changes, simply click elsewhere on your initially selected card to hide the menu.
Step 6: Note the successful swap, with that new player having replaced the one you selected in Step 4.
Step 7: Click Confirm on the top right of the page after all changes have been made:
**Note: Navigating away from the Edit Teams page without confirming will result in your changes being lost.
This will prompt a Hive Keychain transaction for you to sign and submit. Click Confirm again within Keychain:
Once the transaction is published, you will get a confirmation message in the top right of the page stating "Team update successful".
We hope this guide helps you in editing your team. Please also check out our Guide to Team Management.
