How to Change a Team Name

In the same way that you can customize a team by changing the lineup, you can also change the name of a team at anytime. 

This article will outline the process of changing a team name in Genesis League Goals. If you need to know how to create a team, please review this article first.

Step 1: Navigate to the Teams page via the Collection dropdown menu:

Step 2: Select the team you want to rename by clicking on it:

Step 3: Click the Edit Team button:

Step 4: Now click Change Name on the top right of the page:

Step 5: Input a team name; in order for a name to be valid, it must fit the Guidelines for Team Names. Once you have entered your chosen name, click the Save button:

Step 6: Click Confirm and complete the transaction in your Hive Keychain wallet.

Step 7: Click Confirm on the top right of the page after all changes have been made:

**Note: Navigating away from the Edit Teams page without confirming will result in your changes being lost.

This will prompt a Hive Keychain transaction for you to sign and submit.  Click Confirm again within Keychain:

Once the transaction is published, you will get a confirmation message in the top right of the page stating "Team update successful".

Congratulations! Your team name is updated now.
