How to Create a Hive Account in Goals

Genesis League Goals is built on the Hive Blockchain, and a Hive account is needed to make sure users own and control the assets in their account. GLS will offer you the option to create a free Hive account, with purchase of a Franchise License.

How to Create a Hive Account in Goals

Step 1: First, login to https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/. If you do not have an account, please register using one of the available options outlined in our complete guide to registration.

Step 2: You will next need to purchase a Franchise License; this process is outlined in this step by step guide.

Step 3: Click on the white circle in the upper right corner and click Wallets.

Step 4: You will now see the page pictured below. Make sure to choose a that follows the Hive account naming rules. Using a name that already exists will give you an error saying that the Hive address already exists. After you have entered a unique name in the 'Create a Hive Wallet' field, click Create Wallet:

Step 5: Assuming the account creation was successful, you will see a green banner in the top right of the page saying 'Welcome to Hive!'.  You will now need to request your Hive Keys by clicking the Request Keys button on the page seen below.
